All athletic movement comes from an athlete’s center of mass or "their core". The core can be thought of as an athlete’s foundation. The term core strengthening involves the muscles of the abdomen, low back, pelvis, and hip. Good core strength is vital to success of an athlete. A strong core gives the athlete the ability to hit harder, run faster, and stay in balance throughout the game.

Current core training techniques require the body to maintain balance and a neutral position while moving. At PowerCore, our core training program involves the use of stability balls, medicine balls, functional training cable systems, and body weight resistance exercises.
